Creative Problem Solving (CPS)
The CPS process was developed by Sidney Parnes & Alex Osborn. It is designed to provide a framework for teams and individuals to break down complex problems into workable segments, encourage a balance of creative and critical thinking within each step, and build problem ownerships and the gaining of acceptance for ideas into the problem solving process. The process is not just for solving problems—it is also a wonderful tool for bringing dreams into reality.

Legacy Leadership
“Learning and leadership are indispensable to one another.”– John
F. Kennedy. We need effective leadership, now more than ever, at all levels
of our society and our organizations. We need effective leaders to chart a
course through the turbulence caused by accelerating technological change,
globalization with its attendant economic and social dislocation, and the backlashes
against these megatrends. Here’s the good news: This leadership gap can be
filled, because leadership can be learned. Legacy Leadership is a powerful
new research-based learning program that incorporates the five leadership practices
that have been shown to consistently bring about productive change, improve
profits and performance, and once again make work a meaningful experience for
people. The five practices are presented in a dynamic way that links and incorporates
them into a coherent plan, that each participant crafts into a personal and
work strategy, ready for implementation back in the organization. -- RETURN TO THE TOP OF THE PAGE
Know Thyself: The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator
Ever since the Oracle at Delphi said it two thousand
years ago, the foundation of professional improvement and personal change has
first been to try to understand one’s self. The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator
is the world’s leading personality assessment instrument for fostering individual
awareness and growth. The instrument enables an individual to identify his/her
preferences as one of sixteen basic personality types. With this information
and information about other types, the participant can develop strategies for
working more effectively with other people, develop a career plan that satisfies
the individual’s deepest needs, and craft tactics to achieve work and personal
goals more effectively and with less frustration. Participants emerge from
the program understanding their type and with a concrete plan for addressing
at least one particular development need. -- RETURN

modern life. But there is something you can do to reduce your susceptibility
to stress. This program teaches you the three main strategies for dealing with
stress. It will help you be more efficient and effective and can be a key to
living a richer, more fulfilling life. -- RETURN TO THE TOP OF THE PAGE

Future Search
In an era of rapid change, the need for organization renewal, as the initial stage for productive change, is a growing and frequent need. But organizational change is a hazardous enterprise. Some respected estimates suggest that fewer than one in three organizational change efforts are successful. This means in turn that the organization not only loses the opportunity to realize its full potential; it means that the continuing existence of the organization is put at risk. But there is an antidote to this dismal picture. The Future Search conference methodology is a proven method of organizational renewal. Future Search works because it involves the key people needed for the change in planning the change, and people are committed to what they help create.
The unique Future Search conference approach demonstrates that large numbers of people (64 is the optimum number) can be productively and successfully involved in creating a better future for the organization. Not only does Future Search lay the foundation for successful change, it energizes and inspires the participants about the organization’s prospects and their own.

Individual and Group Coaching
Coaching has proven to be a powerful and successful
means of human development. The coach helps an individual or a work group achieve
important organizational, professional and personal goals through the process
where the person (or group) being coached experiments with new ways of performing.
Not only are goals achieved but the person being coached learns to how learn
and apply that learning to obtain constantly accelerating growth. I offer professional,
cost-effective coaching that helps individuals and group achieve and become
more successful. I can help an individual or group tackle virtually any developmental
need imaginable. -- RETURN TO THE TOP OF THE PAGE
Evaluation Research
Now that you, as an executive or manager, have invested
scarce organizational resources of money and time in a training program or
other type of learning intervention, are you sure that you’ve really gotten
the desired results in improved performance back on the job? Evaluation research
is the often overlooked final link in effective adult learning. Evaluation
research provides systematic answers to these critical questions: Did people
have a positive learning experience? (Because, if they didn’t, they are unlikely
to use the learning.) Did the participants learn what they were suppose to
learn? Are they actually using the new knowledge and skills back on the job?
Most importantly, is the application of the new knowledge and skills producing
the expected results in terms of reduced production time, cost savings, better
service, enhanced revenues, etc. Timely answers to these questions can salvage
an expensive training investment. This information can also identify obstacles
that inhibit not just the current learning initiative but also consistently
undermine the organization’s ability to adapt and change. Thus, evaluation
research can often set the stage for substantial organizational improvements.
I offer professional, cost-effective, and insightful evaluation research. Several
of my studies have been published in leading journals and my expertise is recognized
nationally. You can be assured of the best in evaluation research when you
work with me. -- RETURN TO THE TOP OF THE PAGE
